“Make the customer’s problem your problem. By solving their problems and needs, you create a partnership” Shep Hyken
I think this is a great statement with which to start this article, because creating partnerships and building strong relationships with our clients is one of the most important elements of our business. Working with you to help you achieve your goals and find solutions that will hopefully bring you the success you deserve is what makes my job rewarding.
Some clients have fairly complicated financial planning needs, particularly business owners and high net worth individuals. Our aim is to simplify this as much as possible in a cost effective and tax efficient manner. One of the ways we do this is by working with other professionals such as solicitors and accountants who we regard as an extension of the ‘team’ that delivers a trusted high quality service over the long-term.
Why We Work with Other Professionals
Perhaps for both parties the main consideration is the same core values and to ensure that this is consistent with our standards of service and client care. We believe that building long-term relationships should be underpinned by honesty, integrity and service excellence. Our aim is to create, enhance and protect our clients’ assets at all times.
We want to be absolutely certain that any partnership we enter into will be beneficial for our clients, and likewise the clients of our professional partners.
Working with Solicitors
Solicitors provide a valuable service to clients in a variety of ways, whether you own your own business; have a large estate or any other issues that legally impact your income or finances. If you have a solicitor that you are currently working with, we can assist further with any needs or issues relating to:
- Estate Planning – including IHT and trusts
- Divorce – in relation to income and pensions
Working with Accountants
Again, if you have a high income or own your own business, we can work with your accountant to ensure that your tax position and wealth is maintained as efficiently as possible, including:
- Annual Tax Returns
- Tax Efficient Investments and Savings
- Wealth Management
- Auto Enrolment and Pensions
Benefits to You
You entrust your business and personal affairs to us in the hope that we will put your best interests at the heart of what we do; helping you resolve any needs or issues you may have. These can often be extremely sensitive and difficult but given the depth and range of our experience, we can give clear guidance and support when dealing with your finances.
Creating your own team of professionals who are actively working together for your benefit is a simpler and more efficient way of working. We understand that you are busy and that you do not necessarily have all the answers or indeed you may not even want to, what’s more important is that you have the peace of mind that you can trust your advisors to work together for you.
As a business, building relationships with other specialists is one of the ways that we source and acquire new clients; which we have been doing successfully for many years. We value these relationships greatly and work hard to maintain healthy lines of communication and continually work together to develop our alliance. We know that there are cross referral benefits for their business as well as ours and whether it’s an existing partner or a new partner, each relationship is maintained in a professional, confidential and respectful way.
If you are seeking an accountant or solicitor, we can help you source one that is right for your individual needs and in turn; if you would like us to work with one of your specialists we will be happy to do so.
We firmly believe that the right professional partnerships can benefit everyone. They allow our clients to receive specialist advice for legal or accountancy matters, while we continue to address and support their financial needs. As a result the client receives a rounded, holistic approach to the management of all of their affairs.
